We’re seven people. We’ve been at this since 2020. We mostly work with operators running real businesses — not venture-funded experiments.
Nimble Badger started as a two-person development shop during the tail end of the last hype cycle. We kept our heads down through the pivot-to-mobile era, the pivot-to-crypto era, and we’re keeping them down through this one. The work rarely changes shape: understand the business, write the plan, ship the software, hand it back running. We added AI integration and advisory in 2023 — not because our clients asked for “AI,” but because they started asking, more specifically, for help telling a real opportunity from a vendor deck. That’s a service we can provide.

We pick Postgres over the new thing, unless the new thing is clearly better. Reliability compounds.

We decline projects that won’t work. We tell clients when a proposed AI feature is a worse version of what they already have.

Every engagement has a defined endpoint. We don’t invent new reasons to stay on your payroll.

We’d rather ship the thing than talk about shipping it. Marketing is for the product you make, not the firm that made it.
